Background:
 Dr. ADEBAYO JONATHAN ADEYEMO, son of John Ademolaju Adeyemo and Eunice Ayodeji Adeyemo was born on 11th of July, 1979, in Aramoko Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He participated in the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after his first Degree between February 2004 and February 2005 as Corp Liaison Officer (CLO) in Okobo, Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, one of the Oil Producing States of Nigeria, a scheme organized by the Federal Government of Nigeria with a view to the proper encouragement and development of common ties among the youths of Nigeria and the promotion of national unity. His main responsibility then, was to liaise with the State Governments Coordinator of the scheme in the implementation of developmental projects in the Local Government Area. He started his master’s program in the Department of Crop Soil and Pest Management (Soil Management option), in 2006, and was later employed in the same Department during his master´s program as a Teaching Assistant by the University. He obtained his Master´s (M. Agric. Tech.) Degree in Agricultural Technology on the 4th of July, 2008. He started his Doctoral program (DSc.) under the fellowship program sponsored by the Third World Academy of Sciences and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (TWAS/CNPq) in the Department of Soils, Federal University of Viçosa, Viçosa, Minas Gerais, Brazil, in March 2009. He finished his doctoral program in February 2013. He has over six years (6) years’ experience as a soil environmental analyst, development work, impact evaluation, teaching and research. He has worked as a consultant with various organisations (both private and public) national and International Development Organisations on Development projects. He was in the team that worked on Soil Fertility Status and Validation /Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) of the Proposed Bitumen Exploration and Exploitation in Odigbo, Irele and Okitipupa LGAs, Ondo State, Nigeria (2018/19). He also worked as team member as Soil Environmental Analyst/Evaluator on Soil Vegetation and Characterization report of Ikaram – Ibaram Millenium Development Area in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State. It was a Millenium Development Project that was executed in 2008.
